Industrial visit

Hi Readers,
Recently I made a four day trip to Karnataka which is one of the south Indian state. The trip made itself useless with the title "Industrial visit " without visiting any company. It was boring throughout the first two days with some usual repetitions of music and boring dance acts. Whatever, we visited Mysore palace which stood proud with its royal constructional speciality. We even thought about the pride of Maharaja who sits in the decorated lion legged throne of gold to see the countrymen praising him at the courtyard. Even in thoughts we can't bear the state of mind with such a great pride of royalty. Abbi falls is a misty cloud hangs over the falls. From here the water flows into the Kaveri River. In coorg it appeared like the flow of milk from heaven. It provided a good background for my friends to take photographs and for me a cool refreshing experience only because I am truly addicted to nature. Metro train system of India is in its developing stage. But it was not that much of an experience sitting in the compartment watching the high-tech display and making an eye view on the crowded city. The next day plan was 'Wonderla' , a water theme park with too much of exciting rides. I considered parks as the place for kids to play, so my mind never allowed me to play with rides. I got a friend who avoided rides and it was her birthday. We were talking about flirting so because my friend and her friend break up recently. She had a question why boys always do these things and I had examples of girls who love again and again. I concluded her with the dialog " girls want only love, or someone to talk, not someone to be with her all life. She dream about to make him all her life but usually forgets the last man she dreamt of." Boys too have these facts happening every time. God gave time the speciality of erasing every bad and good that shaked us hard.

After the final program in coorg we left for Mysore. In the bus usually a clubbing style of mechanism happens with music and dance. One of my friends named 'kutti Arun' (kutti refers to his short height)  made a different program of imitating each and every student of our class with the dialog and walking styles. Even teachers became baits. Everyone was thrilled with the absorbing and expressing capability of Arun which directed us to the most happy moments of our tour. The day passed and slept late. The next day after finishing visits, on the way return with some problems disturbing mindsets, every face appeared disturbed. Then Arun came up with the next program. Everyone turned themselves a speaker who made their view on our class. We spoke about our friends, problems, relations, likes and dislikes etc. One of our friend talking about her old crush on another mate was surprisingly interesting for hearing. Some talks occasionally got a sentimental climax of remembering family conditions. Even many of the mates came forward to share their experiences and situations which can guide us forward.
Every face turned sad again with the pain of separation. Even if the tour had a sad end, it made a different experience of understanding.
However the tour ended providing happiness to everyone who supported and participated. Every day and night turned to space of emotions. Every problems shared equally. Let God provide happiness and peace for all.

Student Of Determination

After those memorable holidays finishing pre-degree, my parents decided to watch me as an engineer. So they choose the college, course and place. I decided to go on with the served path. In order to start the college life I made a different plan of acting as a good student before the college, just for a first and best impression. So for such an image I prepared full sleeve shirts, normal trousers, big framed specs, and a decent hair cut. I visualised every scene and preplanned situations that can make me a bookworm.  I dreamt of a class full of rocking students who wanted to enjoy their college life. So I believed the first bench will be probably unoccupied. So that I can enter that bench and lift my hand whenever the question is asked. The first day in college was totally unexpected.
As always like the school days I was late to class. The first view just made me depressed. First benches seemed to be over crowded with students. I got the last bench as like it was reserved for me. More things happened during the second period. Deepa madam made me stand for a question that was tough enough. When I felt the class bored, I took a paper and started drawing the class around me. She saw me standing and drawing something. Then she shouted ;
"Daivas, bring that here " I felt nothing unusual because it was usual for me during the school days. In a second I walked to her and gave her that paper. She unfold that paper and saw the game we played last period with my drawing. I had a usual face like nothing happened. She spoke then,
" Take this and get out " Without no sign of apology I took the paper and left.
At this time I noticed someone who is having the properties which I wanted to showcase. He had full sleeve shirts, formal trousers, black shoes, gentle hair cut etc. and was sitting in the first bench answering the questions. It was like watching myself as I dreamt.
His name was Abhiram. I continued the way I started. Students started calling him 'silencer' in accordance with the famous character in Bollywood movie  '3idiots'. He was partially a bookworm who shows no interest in anything else. Time was running fast as like the bullet trains of China. By this time I got occasions to meet him and know him. My friends who wanted to unite the visible worst of the class hated him because he was not willing to join them. I usually found time for sharing some ideas with him. He visits his home frequently whenever he gets a small holiday. So it showed his homesickness, or else his love to be in home. We usually talk about family, social issues and movies. Whenever the subject becomes family he showed his immense desire of being with his family. He told me about the strong relations and bonds that existed within his family.
I was having a dream of uniting my clustered family together. Even from childhood I used to dream about that. With his company hearing the stories of love and affection in his family I got attracted. I studied him with his abilities and capabilities.
He is a man of nothing special. If I can study something reading it 5 times, then it will take 15 times for him to study the same. But what makes him precious is that he is ready to read it 20 times when I show no interest in reading the same once. So I wanted to know why is it so. And I found the answer as determination. His strong determination that held him firm on his path. Sometimes I used to watch him neglected, criticized and avoided. Such a determination that strengthen him, holds him. Talking as a communication engineer, whatever the noise comes in his path, he has the best filter called determination to clear his signal towards success.
This experience is truly inspirational. Downloading motivational videos and watching them and getting them as a usual practice is a common foolishness we do. Look around. Watch ; eyes open. If you can't see nothing to motivate you, then you can't be motivated.

Man of small Happiness

I was actually planning about writing the next blog on determination of a student. But today I made a train journey that made me to write about something else. We mallu's usually think ourselves as superior to all we find on our path. But some occasions prove we were not. And truth is that we are not. After a fever infected leave, I left to college back from home. Dad gave money for a booked comfortable journey. I found some more savings in that share, so that I decided to travel in the local class train with the reduced ticket charge. I got a window seat in the overcrowded train. It was really interesting making new friends on the way. There next to me was a dwarf with silky dirty white shirt wearing man with his bulging paunch. He had a coal black complexion with scary face. I was memorizing those moments with my obdurate dad who resisted my shifting from house near college to a new apartment. I felt it so disturbing with the thoughts. Then he spoke out ;
" where are you going ?" That hit my thoughts for a second. The voice of that man sitting next to me was blurred. I found it difficult to find the language he was talking. Finally considering the features reflected, I replied back in Tamil.
" sorry I didn't get you! "
He repeated the same again and again three times until I got some words from his question. They were also blurred. And I realized the language is malayalam. I replayed for his questions after listening to the questions carefully. It was one of my ever best conversations till date. I asked him about his destination, job, future plan, friends, current status, place of birth, financial balance, etc... After answering to my questions he started smiling like a kid who is not anxious about the future. His answers were fascinating.
Let me explain it simple..
Place of birth : don't know, will be somewhere in kerala.
Parents : don't know about who they are and where they are.
Religion : Christian, he don't know how that happened.
Job : In railway line construction as a helper for 100rs and food.
Home : No family, no house, sleep in the streets.
Friends : everyone he know.
Current status : No job, should search for something. Destination : last station
Financial balance : he hesitated to replay
Future plan : again he left speechless.
Talking with him was a new experience. Someone with no platform to sleep. Someone with no shelter to live.
He is not complaining. He is not blaming his parents. He is satisfied with his improper life, Considering everyone as like his friends. He don't know what to do next. But he know he will survive somehow. He have faith. He is brave to face tomorrow. Problems were his comrades till birth now it is a usual thing for him. Train finished its six hour journey fast, reaching Coimbatore. I took my bag. He looked at me like leaving a true friend. Then I bought a pack of biriyani and gave that to him. He refused to take it.
" Friend today God assigned me for giving you this "
I put it in his front through the window and said bye.
I started walking through the busy platform to find the exit. Mind was even running with his courage of living without expectation. I thought of my silly pride. My silly arguments came from pride. I realised I'm living in luxury considering him. He have nothing and no complaints. I have everything I needed and I'm even complaining. I felt it so happy buying food for him. Actually god assigned him for teaching me the essential lesson. :-)
